Common Pediatric disorder

Children’s Cough
Coughing may cause by single or multiple casues. If cough do not more than 14 days, it may be caused by respiratory infections. If coughing last for a long period of time, you should consult to your pediatricians as soon as possible. Sustain coughing may lead to hyperactive airway or asthma. Parents should pay attention to children when they have symptoms like stridor or difficulty in breathing.


Children’s diarrhea
There are many reasons that may cause diarrhea in children. The most common is viral and bacterial infections and may also cause by food poisoning or food allergies. Recently, there are cases diarrheas caused by rotavirus infection. Infant and children will have enterogastritis- like symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting, reduction of urine output, confusion, hollow eyes and weaken of muscles. If condition is persisting, you should consult to your pediatrician earlier to prevent dehydration.

Children’s constipation
Most constipation is caused by diets, such as inappropriate milk formulary, excessive meat intake, insufficient water intake and dietary fiber intake. International diagnostic guidelines suggest that constipated children should also experience the following symptoms.
1) Pebble-like stool;
2) Forceful defecation

rying during defecation

 Reduction of defecation frequency.

Parents can give children plenty of boil
ed water, diluted fruit juices and regular physical activity can enhance the intestinal peristalsis and resolve the constipation. If parents have any questions, please consult to the pediatrician.
